The surface of zeolite NaZSM-5 were modified by using Fe and Mg respectively and catalysts of type Ⅰ and Ⅱ were obtained therefrom,In mononitration of toluene with nitric-sulfuric acid mixture in the presence ofⅠor Ⅱ,p-mononitrotoluene in the nitration products could increased 10%。 The experimental results and the effect of catalyst Ⅰ and Ⅱ are discussed,compared with the conventional porous materials.
