The factors influencing the yield and quality of hexanitrostilbene(HNS) from oxidizing hexanitrobibenzil(HNBB) are discussed. The experimental results show,addition to the satisfactory technology procedure,the proportion of solvent and dispelling H2O in reaction system are also the prerequisites to increase HNS yield.
