The Compressive Creep Behavior of PBX Based on TATB

    Abstract:

    The compressive creep behavior of PBX based on TATB was investigated. Experiments were taken at different temperatures to identify the strong temperature dependence of the mechanical properties. An obvious temperature transition range related to the jumping of mechanical behavior,i.e. from 40 ℃ to 60 ℃,was obtained. It was proper to choose 55 ℃ as reference temperature for master curve of creep compliance function. The shift factor (aT) was obtained with the curve transforming and used to calculate the two coefficients of WLF equation. Prony series with seven terms are proved to be good fitting for the creep compliance master curve.
