In-situ FTIR was employed to study the characteristics of thermal decomposition of TEX in the process of tempaerature programming. The thermal decomposition mechanism was deduced.The first step of TEX thermal decomposition was denitration, and the evolutaed gases were mainly NO2, N2O, HCN, NO,CO and aldehyde group-containing products.
