By using urea,glyoxal,formaldehyde,nitroform, and nitric acid and sulphuric acid as basic materials,the title compound was prepared via cyclization,hydroxymethylation,introduction of trinitromethyl groups and nitration.Its physico-chemical and detonation properties were determined. The detonation velocity at density of 1.95g/cm3 is 9037m/s. Experimental results show that the title compound possesses an acceptable thermal and hydrolytic stability.
