Abstract:The variational method was used to derivate an approximate formulae for analyzing the critical parameters of thermal explosion for cylindric charges. The results therefrom were compared with those obtained from numerical computation. It shows that the modified formulae can well estimate the above-said critical parameters with an error of percentile.

Abstract:The effect of RDX content in the range from 0 to 46.9%(by weight) on the rheologic behavior of NC-DBP-RDX system with different temperatures was studied by using Instron 3211 Capillary Rheometry, and the effect of RDX content on the elastic effect of the system at 80℃ was studied with tolerance microscope as well.

Abstract:This paper describes a non-TNT rock explosive based on nitrates of area and ammonium. The complex urea nitrate is used as a sensitizer instead of TNT to make a low toxic rock explosive with low mechanical sensitivity, high performance and good storage property. The factors influencing on the properties of complex urea nitrate and the non-TNT explosive, the way to improve the complex and the thermal decomposition behavior of the non-TNT rock explosive are discussed.
Abstract:Based on the results of DSC,sensitivity tests and detonation parameter measurement,a comparative study is made to analysize the difference of thermal decomposition and detonation bahaviors of the typical high explosive RDX, primary explosive Pb(N3)2 and a new explosive CP whose explosion properties are considered to be in between RDX and Pb(N3)2.

Abstract:The selective nitration of acetanilide was studied by orthogonally designed experiments,The influence factors on the selective nitration were evaluated by means of grey relation analysis.
Abstract:The experimental procedure and method are described for determining critical drop height of industrial powdered explosives by using the up-and-down method. The variation range of the experimental parameters is obtained and discussed thereof. The results indicate that the up-and-down method is practical to determine the impact sensitivity of industrial powdered explosives.
Abstract:This paper describes the factors catising residual stress in explosive charges and their measurement method by X-ray.The primary test results indicate that the X-ray method of residbel stress measurement is feasible for evaluating the mechanical properties of explosive charges.
Abstract:C60 is one of new discoveries in science and a great interest in it now is arising in the fields of physics and chemistry as well as new materials. Much brillant research has been done and a great deal of achievements in this work have been obtained. This paper elaborates on the applied prospects of C60, especially,in the field of energetic materials.
