Abstract:UHF-SCF-AM1 method in quantum chemistry was used to calculate thefollowing three reactions : NH2NO2→·NH2+·NO2 (1) CH3NHNO2→CH3NH+·NO2(2)(CH3)2NNO2→(CH3)2N·+·NO2(3)Their potential energy curves, transition states and activation energies were obtained. It is found that there is a parallel relationship between the bond order of N-N in the reactant molecules of the three reactions and the activation energy of their N-N bond breading.These results were reproduced by the corresponding PM3 calculation.

Abstract:Mathematic treatment of particle size distribution in solid propellant is presented, and the particle size distribution of aluminium powder and combustion residue of Al-containing propellant are taken as examples to be analysed by means of commonly used theoretical distribution functions,including normal distribution, lognormal and K-distribution, in statistic analysis of partical size data. On the basis of Culick’s damping model the effect of particle size distribution on instable combustion in rocket motors are evaluated and discussed.
Abstract:The surface of zeolite NaZSM-5 were modified by using Fe and Mg respectively and catalysts of type Ⅰ and Ⅱ were obtained therefrom,In mononitration of toluene with nitric-sulfuric acid mixture in the presence ofⅠor Ⅱ,p-mononitrotoluene in the nitration products could increased 10%。 The experimental results and the effect of catalyst Ⅰ and Ⅱ are discussed,compared with the conventional porous materials.
Abstract:Toluene is mononitrated under Menke conditions by use of metallic nitrates in the presence of solid acids. Among the solid acids tested the layer-form aluminosilicate appears to be an optimum catalyst, because of its good para selectivity, resulting in a para-to-ortho ratio of 1.1~1.5 in the mononitration products of toluene.
Abstract:Hexanitrohexaazaitsowurtzitane(HNHAIW) was heated at 100℃ for 48, 96and 300h, respectively. No burning or explosion occurred during heating. The crystals had no visible appearance change and no crystal configuration transition identified by means of FTIR analysis. The weight loss of 0. 02% after 96h heating indicates that the thermal stability of ε-HNHAIW is better than that of RDX and HMX.

Abstract:Interfacial interaction between γ-( 2,3-epoxypropyl) oxypropyltrimethoxysilane (EPOPTMOS) coupling agent and TATB was examined by means of high resolution X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and scanning electron microscope (SEM), and its possible mechanism was discussed.
Abstract:A simple, convenient sample recovery device for shock wave loading was presented,its main advantages are : the sample capsule is fixed by bolts and can easily be assembled and disassembled. When using the detonation of 50/50 TNT/RDX charge is used as a shock wave source, it will result in a shock pressure up to 10 GPa in the sample,It is believed that this device could be a convenient tool for the research of shock wave chemistry.
