Abstract:The benzyl groups of monoacetyltribenzoyldibenzylhexaazaisowutzitane were removed successfully by the nitrosification of 65% HNO3/NaNO2. And the corresponding nitrosamine product—monoacetyltribenzoyldinitrosohexaazaisowutzitane was obtained. Using thin-layer chromatography(TLC) and column chromatography (CC) methods,two kinds of by-products of the nitrosation products from monoacetyltribenzoyldibenzylhexaazaisowutzitane were isolated and identified as monoacetyltetrabenzoylmononitrosohexaazaisowutzitane and monoacetylpentabenzoylhexaazaisowutzitane.
Abstract:The influencing factor and the influence law of the combustion property of the NEPE propellant were studied. Using an amount of high effective modifiers of reducing pressure exponent,changing the contents and the particle sizes of AP,Al,HMX and selecting suitable plasticizers can obviously reduce the pressure exponent of the NEPE propellant and effectively adjust the burning rate.

Abstract:N,N′-di(nitrofurazano)oxalamide (DNFOA) was synthesized from 3,4-diaminofurazan by acidylating. The structure of DNFOA has been identified by IR,1HNMR,MS and elemental analysis. The density of DNFOA was determined to be 1.90 g·cm-3 by suspension method. The values of the standard enthalpy,the detonation velocity and the explosive pressure at C-J point were calculated to be 303.6 kJ·mol-1,8 559.6 m·s-1,33.6 GPa, respectively. As a low-sensitivity high energetic density compound,the impact-sensitivity (H50) of DNFOA was mensurated to be 82 cm(5 kg drop hammer).

Abstract:Laser photolysis was employed to research into the reaction process of TATB and BTF after excitation. Excited transient species as singlet, triplet and free radical were obtained by the quenching test. Free radical of BTF was identified by ESR.

Abstract:The TG characteristics of GAP fuel-rich propellant and its ingredients,such as AP,KP,AP/KP and GAP,were studied by TG and TGA method.The effect of some TMOs on the thermal decomposition characteristic of the ingredients was investigated in this paper.The results show that effects of the TMOs on the thermal decomposition reactions of GAP,AP and KP are different.

Abstract:Detonation propagation behavior of thin film explosives was studied. Experimental data of critical width and thickness of detonation propagation, corner turning effect, and detonation velocity of thin film explosives show that thin film explosives have met requirements of explosive network.

Abstract:Some explosive mixtures detonating at low velocity were experimentally investigated. Detonation velocity and critical diameter were measured for mixtures,being different in composition and density. An attempt of physical and chemical interpretation of results obtained is also included.

Abstract:The paper specifies an unambiguous basic relationship between the published results of ab initio calculations of lattice energies,EL,and heats of sublimation,ΔHs,of individual energetic materials. In this relationship,the ΔHs value has been replaced by heats of fusion,ΔHm,tr. Thereby its unambiguity has been lost,and the similarity of details of molecular structure begins to be of decisive importance. The resulting partial relationships,together with the basic relationship,have been used for prediction of ΔHs,and ΔHm,tr values of technically attractive polynitro compounds.

Abstract:Submicron TATB has been directly synthesized with highly emulsified method.The average particle diameter and purity is determined to be 0.84 μm and 99.0%,respectively.The feature of submicron TATB is also observed with SEM.

Abstract:Some equations of explosive explosion probability and probability of occurring number k successive explosion in one group (25sets) in drop-hammer test are deduced with probabilistic method in this paper,as well as the relative table. This is a method to improve the reliability of test results.
Abstract:Based on the principle of detonation and chemical thermodynamics, the lower explosive limits (LEL) of organic compounds were studied, and two methods were developed to predict the lower explosive limits of organic compounds by using the data of combustion heat or the composition of the compounds. The calculated results showed that the predicted LEL agreed with the experiment data satisfactorily, and the mean absolute deviations were 0.161 and 0.210. Not only can the methods be used to predict the LEL of organic compounds, but can help to understand the quantitative relation between LEL and the heat of combustion or composition.

Abstract:The thermal decomposition process of hexanitrohexaazaisowurtzitane (HNIW, CL-20) under the conditions of vacuum was investigated by using a highly sensitive Bourdon manometer. The relationship between the time (τ) corresponding to the reacted fraction 0.1% and the temperature (T) of the thermal decomposition of CL-20 in the temperature range 110~140 ℃ can be expressed by the following equation: lgτ=-24.330 0+9 971.76/T. Therefore the formal kinetic parameters Ea and A, and available life at 70 ℃ were obtained, indicating that CL-20 has good thermal stability at higher temperature.
